Hi, I’m Mike Seidle and this is my personal website. I provide no guarantees of privacy or security, and your use of this site is at your own risk.

This is a WordPress site, and data may be shared with Aautomatic, Inc. who provide Akismet anti-spam and Jetpack analytics service.

Content hosted from third-party platforms like Twitter Tweets, GitHub Gists, Facebook Posts, YouTube videos, and other content results in your browser sharing information with those services. Sorry, but that’s just how the web works.

Internet Privacy

If you are concerned about your online privacy, Here are a couple of  suggestions:

Use the Brave Browser or use Mozilla Firefox. While Chrome is more popular, both of these browser leak less personal information and have made privacy part of their mission. Additionally, both are actually really nice browsers. Brave is based on the same open-source core that Chrome is, so it feels and works just like Chrome. Firefox has improved a great deal over the past few years, and even use it on my Android tablet and phone instead of Chrome.

Most tools that are trying to identify you are doing so to target ads. There are some great tools for seeing who is tracking you on each site you visit. I use the EFF’s Privacy Badger and Ghostery.
